What to do when family keeps mispronouncing my daughters name?

I named my now 9 month old daughter Lilliana, to be pronounced Lily-Ah-Nah, but family members keep pronouncing her name Lily-Ann-Ah. I have corrected them several times, some are getting it, some not. I even have an aunt who said she thinks it should be pronounced Lily-Ann-Ah so that's what she's going to say. I find it extremely rude and disrespectful to be calling my little girl the incorrect name. I've thought of telling her that it would be like calling her granddaughter Maya, May-ah instead of My-ah just because that's what it looks like, but I don't want to stoop to her level and be rude back. Please help my sister with her divorce and child!?

I am writing on behalf of my sister. She is 20 years old in the Army reserves. She move to Texas from North Carolina to be with her boyfriend. She ended up getting pregnant which is why she moved w/ him and his family. Then they got married. Just a year later, she got an apartment but he refused to pay the bills and then he left and went back to his parents. He took his car and she didnt have a way to work so she quit her job, then got evicted from her apt. She tried to move back w/ him and his family but they kicked her out and took her child. Please keep in mind that he is mexican and his family have been using her info to get their way. Some of them are not legal and we dont know if he finally got his citizenship bc he was not legal when she last spoke with him. But now he have petition for a divorce and did a restraining order against her to preventing her from see her child. He is making false allegations like she was neglecting her child when she never even heard from her husband for days. He is requesting supervised visitation and child support in the divorce petition. Can he do this if he is not legal or how can we find out if he is legal? What should she do bc she is now back in NC w/ her family without a job. And the Army reserves dont have a position for her at this time. We need a lawyer for her and some advice. Please help us. She really need her daughter back and this resolved...

Underarm hair is thinning? I am not menopausal?

Okay so lately ive noticed that my underarm hair is not growing as fast as it used to and is growing in thinner and more sparse after I shave. I also noticed it with my pubic hair because I shave there too. I am only 20 yrs old so it's obviously not menopause. I read it could be a thyroid problem and last year my bloodwork showed my thyroid levels were off so they had to retest it but then they said I was fine. I don't know why else this would be happening, my leg hair grows fine and my hair on my head is as thick as it always was and i'm not losing it or anything. Anyone know what might be causing this? I feel really sad what should I do?

I am 14 and I have been sick for about 7 months. Even though I been in hospital 8 times, had heaps of tests, an operation etc we still don't know whats wrong with me. Last year I missed over a term of school. I can't go out much because I get really bad stomach pains without warning, sometimes so bad I cant walk. When this all started the then head teacher of my year was mean. She started sending mum mean emails and accused me of pretending. Help me name my Rescue Puppy?

I just rescued a 16week old puppy from euthanazia. He has a luxated patella, which is a hereditary condition that is common in small breeds because of BAD breeds who could care less about the breed and even less for the people whose hearts are broken every day by poorly bred puppies. He is a Japanese Chin and although his breeder should be shot and his parents spayed/neutered, that doesn't mean he should be killed. So I took him in but he needs a name. He is tiny and adorable. I'm aware the breed originates in China, but I think a Japanese name would be awesome. Any suggestions will be considered. Thanks

Should I take the SATs again?

I'm a junior and I took the SATs for the first time this December. I got an 800 in critical reading, a 730 in math, and a 740 in writing. This matches up pretty closely with how I did on the PSATs, a 77 in critical reading, a 79 in math, and a 70 in writing. I feel I could do better in math if I took the SAT again. Math is usually my strongest subject (I have an A+ in Calculus BC and Statistics, 2 AP Senior cles) and I am leaning towards pursuing math in college. I feel that I could get an 800 in math if I didn't screw anything up or make any stupid mistakes, which I think I did this time. Would getting an 800 over a 730 make a difference to any college? Also, how does taking the SAT multiple times work? I've talked to seniors who've told me that only your best score from each section is reported, but from the College Board website I got the impression that your best overall test was reported. So if I took the test again, would I be able to just skip the critical reading section because I already got an 800 on it or would I have to do well on that again?

Why don't Americans value the importance of family anymore?

Hi all! I'm a family person. I've never been married and I don't have any kids but I love my family so much. My parents are the best in the world and they've always been there for me no matter what. They've always been married to each other for over 35 years and still act like they're still dating. It saddens me that so many people of all races and ages don't value their families anymore. A lot of times, I see people disrespecting their parents and relatives. People divorce so often as though it's normal and not a big thing. I have many friends who only grew up in one single parent household without the other parent around. It seems like people date and have with somebody new every week. Promiscuity is everywhere here in the US. Do you see something wrong with this picture because I do? I really think our society is very screwed up. Why don't Americans value the importance of family anymore? If this fails transfer the fish to a seperate container with just enough water to cover the fishes body. Try rasing the temperature slightly and add an anti-internal bacteria treatment.

What would cause a bow light to over heat?

I have a Lowe aluminum SeaNymph 175 fishing boat, equipped with a pole mounted, bi-color, bow light with built in courtesy light (to illuminate the front casting deck). The light over heats and trips the circuit breaker after several minutes. The rocker switch is a three position type: Up = Navigation (bow and stern lights on), middle = Off, Down = Anchor (white stern light only). I can leave it in the Anchor position and it does not trip the circuit breaker. What should I look for? I opened up the light and the connections all seem intact. I agree with you. Ford, like most other car makers today, makes cars look a bit too bulby looking. This is the unfortunate influence of Foreign Japanese, and Korean car makers who produce sloppy line free and rounded designs, even stumpy looking, which take away from the clean appeal of a sharp looking automobile. In fact, smaller, sleeker looking cars of the past were much more aero dynamic looking than the new cars. When a car looks sleek, lined, HOT, it is a delightful design to behold. The early Mustangs had this appeal. Not so much today. The new Mustangs are nice, but compared to the sleek sharped lined Mustangs of early days, they look bulby, thick, even fat. This removes the appeal of a car which should have the look of a hot knife slashing its way through er! This negative design is also incorporated into all the other models as well. A fast, clic car, --or any car for that matter, will always sell better if it looks like it is MOVING even when it is parked at the curb side. I hope Ford is listening here. Clic line, and clean cuts in a cars body, mean beauty and desirability, which equates to more cars sold, and more happy customers. Those who like sloppy rounded designs and flying saucer lamps like in the Nissan Altima, to the bugged out eyes of Toyota headlamps with sloppy and fat rounded rear ends can stay with Toyota and Honda. Design sells. And clean proportionate design sells even better. The Mustangs back end is a little to chunky to my tastes. But the over all new Mustang is 1000 times better looking than anything the foreign car makers can touch.

I met with a running coach yesterday who pointed out that I cross my arms (diagonally) when running and suggested I would save a lot more energy if I ran with arms moving straight like a pendulum. I ran 5.5 miles this morning (including 1 mile warm up). Initially it was weird to get used to the new position for my arms but then it became more natural. I felt that I was running much more fluent. Has anyone ever made this change before and also how does it work exactly that the running becomes easier when the arms are moved in a straight way rather than crossing?

Help with sword sharpening?

Well, I have a cavalry sword, and it was sharpened pretty well at the top, but completely dulled at the bottom half, so I decided to sharpen it with a knife sharpener. Before I sharpened the blade, the top half could cut almost completely through cardboard, now the sword just dents the cardboard... Maybe I didn't use the right sharpening tool, or didn't sharpen it right? I held the knife sharpener (oh this sharpener is rectangular) so it was diagonal, and when it was on the blade, I had it going a little diagonal, so it was somewhat on the actual blade, and some of it wasn't (I thought I should do that because if i had put the sharpener horizontally it would dull the blade) This is a manual sharpener.... My cat is suddenly afraid of everything, even his dish of food. Been 24 hours no physical reason.

I had a cat who lived to be 1 1/2 years old. He was seemingly a happy, healthy cat who was up-to-date on his vaccinations. He started acting strange also. I remember he feared his favorite spots in the house too. He wouldn't eat, or even go to the litter box. He was like a zombie. He had a blank stare. He stayed on the kitchen stove and table, places he never used to go. I took him to the vet and they did a blood test, he was diagnosed with feline leukemia. My cat wasn't around any other cat to be exposed to it, he had to have been born with it, and the disease was lying dormant all of that time. I really hope that is not the case for your cat, just the way yours was acting reminded me of my cat. There really wasn't any physical signs. It just hit all of a sudden. His gums though were pale. Take a finger and push on his gums to see his capillary refill time. I would take him to the vet if his behavior continues. Good luck.

Switching branches after DEPing in?

I swore into DEP about 3 weeks ago with the army for ATC (15Q). This was my first choice MOS and at first it wasn't available. I managed to take over another recruits spot so I filled a permenant spot instead of a temporary. I have everything locked down and am set to leave May 12. I made it known to my recruiter that I was still looking into the Air Force and he said that it was not a problem to switch branches after DEPing in, and that in fact it would make it easier for the Air Force because I have already obtained my secret security clearance and ped the physical and all that so they could already know that I was qualified. I was told it was just a matter of transferring my packet from the Army to the Air Force. The reason I did the initial swear in with the Army was because like I said I filled another recruits spot and I had to take it before anyone else did otherwise it could be towards the end of the year that another 15Q opened up. I know I am going to catch slack from a lot of you about swearing into DEP with the Army when I was still considering the Air Force, but just go with it I trust my recruiter and what he told me. I am going down to the USAF recruiter tomorrow to see whats up with switching to CCT for the USAF, per my Army recruiters advice. I'll find out then but I just wanted to catch some outside feedback about the whole process and if anyone has heard of/experienced this before. I've been looking it up online and people say you have to be discharged from DEP and start the enlistment progress all over again to switch branches but this is not what my Army recruiter told me and he is a very knowleadgable and respectful guy that's been looking out for me. There was a question on here, might have been yesterday or the day before asking about paradise and heaven being two different places. The best answer stated that they are different of course, but that the born again dead still go to a holding place in hell to await the resurrection. How can this be? If the bible says in 2 Cor. 5:8 that to be absent from the body, and be present with Christ, and Christ is seated at the right hand of power, which is God the Father in heaven, then how can we still go to a holding place in hell? What did it mean then when He descended into the lower parts of the earth and led captivity captive when He ascended on high? Doesn't this mean that Christ by conquering death, hell, and the grave that Christ removed paradise from hell and took it to heaven with Him? I would suggest lime wire. All though you can get a virus from anyone you just have to be smart and careful about it. I would just recommend using itunes. Also i HATE NORTON 360. Weed short term effects?

My period is 10 days late and I have bronchitis. I took a hpt at a week late with fmu and it was neg. My GP says I can't take my antibotics until I am sure. Car Help:1992 Plymouth Voyager stuck one tire moves other wont budge?

My 1992 Plymouth Voyager wont move. it starts but wont back up or go forward. It was working great but its been sitting in the parking lot for 3 weeks in frigid conditions, so a week ago i tried to move it and it wouldnt go forward or back. so i figured it was stuck in the ice. today the ice has mostly melted and it should be able to back up but it wont. upon further examination i am seeing that the drivers side tire isnt moving and the penger side tire is spinning it seems almost like the drivers tire is locked up and preventing the van from moving. im wondering if the brake is frozen (i always leave the e brake on when i park it) and maybe its stuck as the other tire is spinning. does only one tire drive in a front wheel drive car of this year and model. I really need to get it moved if you have any ideas or suggestions please help. like i said penger side tire moves drivers doesent and the car will turn on but not move forward or backwards. if you have any tips for fixing
