Why do Americans on here always take this "we saved your a$$" attitude?

because all of the politicians in Europe couldn't see Hitler as the threat that he was, and the U.S. came in later, after most of those countries had fallen, thus saving their @ss. However, the same could be said about our politicians with the Japanese, both sides of the Atlantic underestimated the threat that the fascists posed to their livelihood.
