Why kind of work can I do from home?

I have a BSc Accounting and am doing an MBA specialism IT, Info Sys or MIS. I am excellent with computers and can build web sites. I want to be at home with my son rather than have him raised by society. What kind of work can I do from home? I know all the schemes and direct sales etc, dont want any of that. I need advise. I am going to be either in Fort Worth, Tx; Baltimore Md or Queens, NY.....
