Yes, you did right because it seems the truth. Those are not pranks, some of what you describe is just cruel. Telling you your husband died and hitting your head with a pan aren't what you would call a prank. It's stupid, asinine behavior. You asked him to stop and he wouldn't. I'd say he got what he deserved.
